Cod in Marseilles

INGREDIENTS

  • Bay leaf – 1 PC.
  • salt cod – 500 g
  • garlic – 3 cloves
  • olive oil – 2 tbsp
  • large potatoes – 2 PCs.
  • onion large – 1 EA.
  • milk – 250 ml
  • butter for submission
  • thyme – 1 sprig
  • cream fat content of 9% – 200 ml
  • pepper – to taste

STEP-BY-STEP RECIPE

Step 1

The day before put the cod in a large bowl with cold water. Leave for a day, water a few times to change.

Step 2

The next day, mix in a saucepan the milk with 1 Cup of water to pass it cod. Add the Bay leaf and thyme, bring to a boil and immediately remove from heat.

Step 3

Peel the potatoes, cut into arbitrary pieces and boil in salted water until tender. Drain the water, potato mash into a puree, adding the cream.

Step 4

Onions and garlic peel, chop and mix with olive oil. Add to mashed potatoes, mix well.

Step 5

Cod to disassemble into small pieces, removing skin and bones. Add to mashed potatoes, stir gently. Season with ground black pepper and if necessary salt.

Step 6
